Last week LS2 had a visit from Michel Mulipola, a Samoan illustrator and animator who has his illustrations published in Marvel comics, school journals and Pasifika stories, and worked as an animator in Moana 2. His drawings tell a story and help us make visual connections to the plot. Michel illustrated one of the texts we are reading at the moment, Once a Panther. He chose to do this to help us remember it is important to not to repeat the mistakes of the past. 

Michel reminded us that dreams can become a reality if you remember where you are from and who you are, have a strong support system and keep chasing your dreams. 

I really enjoyed this becase Michel Muliola told us that we should chase our dreams and aways belive in  yourself. Michel Muliola said that he loved drawing and he loved reading comics and he said that his dream was to be an artist and then one day he startted to be really good at doing comics and really good at being an  wrestler.

InLS2 we made an DLO called Letter to Grandmother. We did this to show and tell what we would of done if we where Bruno. so me and my TeamMates made this letter and where imagining what we would of worte if we where Bruno.

In LS2 we made an DLO about poems and how you can make an really heart warming or an really strong one. Me and my buddy made an DLO called Hope.We did this to show and express on how we think that hope is. Me and my buddy  choosed Hope because its an really beautiful word and it has an meaning that can give you an chance to start  again.

In LS2 we made an DLO about the boy in striped Pajams we learn in Chapter 9 that they have an new tutor tells Bruno that story books are really useless and said to him you should learn more about your father and he must study History and geography and many other things.But Bruno really likes story books and he does not like this really mean tutor!

In LS2 we made an dlo about the boy in the striped pajamas we learn in chapter 8 that Grandmothers say that Bruno’s father uniform looks really silly and tells father that he is to proud of himself and that he is an really bad person. father gets really mad and starts arguing to his mom that he is doing something good and is o his orders by his comader Adolf  hittler.

In LS2 we  made an DLO about Malapropism And Definition. We do this to understand the words and to know what the word means. Malaproism is hearing words that sound the same but they are difference words.

In LS2 we made an DLO about the boy in stripped pajmas we know   in chapter 7 that bruno gets hurt by falling of his own made swing. as he falls he see himself really dirty which wanted him to laugh but he wasint able to becase he could feel an sharp pain on his own knee. The first time he saw it his face want pale and chills ran down his spine he was scared at of his own soul!. He was thinking that he would run out of blood and was scared that he would get coverd over blood. AS he was in shock pavel could see what had happen and ran to him and carried him to the kichen and cleaned brunos wound. as pavel finishd cleaning brunos  wound washed his hands and ran back peeling the potoes.

In LS2 we made an DLO about the boy in stirpped pajams. in chapter 3 we know that bruno calls gretel  an hopeless case. we know this becase inthe book it tells us that bruno calls gretel an hopeless case.
